Soccer Recap: Hondo Takes a Loss

Hondo lost against Pleasanton back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hondo Owls lost 6-0 to the Pleasanton Eagles. The Owls just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 5-14-3. As for Pleasanton, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-2 record this season.

Hondo will square off against Pearsall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hondo is facing Pearsall at the right time seeing as Pearsall is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Pleasanton, they will challenge Poteet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasanton will be up against Poteet's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.05 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
