Basketball Recap: Montclair Kimberley Academy Comes Up Short

Montclair Kimberley Academy lost against Glen Ridge back in January of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars lost 55-35 to the Glen Ridge Ridgers. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Ridgers are ranked 120th).

Montclair Kimberley Academy's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Glen Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

Montclair Kimberley Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 46-41 loss against West Caldwell Tech on the 23rd. As for Glen Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-49 win against West Orange on the 23rd.
