Softball Recap: Triway's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Triway dropped their record down to 10-5 on Saturday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They lost 11-0 to the Manchester Panthers. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Titans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Manchester's part, they let Chloe White and Cassidy Perry run wild. White went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Perry went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those four RBI gave White a new career-high. A Wayman also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Triway didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Northwest on the 28th. As for Manchester, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-7 defeat against Green on the 28th.
