Basketball Game Preview: Castle View Sabercats vs. Grandview Wolves

The Castle View Sabercats will square off against the Grandview Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Castle View knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Grandview likes a good challenge.

Castle View is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since January 21st on Tuesday. They fell just short of Rock Canyon by a score of 70-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Sabercats still had to take the loss.

The losing side was boosted by Evan Mckean, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 23 points in addition to six boards and four steals. What's more, he also posted a 58% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Blake Graham, who posted six points and ten assists.

Meanwhile, Grandview lost to Overland at home by a 78-64 margin on Saturday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Castle View's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Castle View was able to grind out a solid win over Grandview in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 64-56. Does Castle View have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grandview turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
