Basketball Recap: Chireno Comes Up Short

If Chireno was feeling good fresh off their 61-38 takedown of Wells on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chireno Owls had to suffer through a 62-28 loss at the hands of the Sterling Rangers. The match marked the Owls' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chireno's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Sterling, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Chireno has already played their next game, a 58-53 win against Sterling on the 14th. As for Sterling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 75-48 victory against Wells on the 13th.
