Palm Springs strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Shadow Hills Knights with a sharp 41-21 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Knights are ranked 447th).

Shadow Hills lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brandon Peffers, who picked up 102 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Palm Springs' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Shadow Hills, their record now sits at 4-3.

Meanwhile, Shadow Hills is set to square off against their familiar foe Palm Desert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
