Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Monache couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fowler Redcats on Wednesday. The Marauders' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Monache saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyson Chavez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Monache's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Fowler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Monache nor Fowler have any future games scheduled.
