Jones has gone 9-1 against Solorio recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sun Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Jones is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Jones couldn't beat Lincoln Park on Saturday even though they stacked six runs on them in the first inning. The Eagles fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Jones saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Condne, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Solorio scored first but ultimately less than Simeon in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 14-2 to the Wolverines. The loss continues a trend for the Sun Warriors in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost three in a row.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Solorio, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Jones has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Solorio struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Jones took their victory against Solorio when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Sun Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
