Tupelo had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Hope Trojans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Tupelo easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Cat Long paced Tupelo's offense, picking up ten kills. Long got some help from Reese Barbles and her 12 assists. Barbles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Tupelo's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for New Hope, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Tupelo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Olive Branch on the 13th. As for New Hope, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Caledonia on the 13th.
