Lubbock-Cooper scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Tascosa Rebels by a score of 78-75. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (74), the Pirates still had to take the loss.

Lubbock-Cooper moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Tascosa, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
