Softball Recap: Bagdad Comes Up Short

Bagdad lost to Joseph City back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Sultans fell 7-4 to the Wildcats.

Dezirae Landers made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Bria Moseley was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one double.

Bagdad's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Joseph City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6.

Coincidentally, Bagdad and Joseph City will both be playing Williams the next time they take the field. The Sultans will host the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
