Football Recap: Glenbard North Extends Home Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Glenbard North had won four straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 4-2 to make it five. They enjoyed a cozy 41-23 win over the Lake Park Lancers. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 29-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

It was another big night for Donato Gatses, who rushed for 283 yards and four scores while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 165 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glenbard North was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 324 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 198 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

As for Lake Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 18 points.

Niko Menos and Kendan Ratini certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Menos picked up 107 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Ratini rushed for 79 yards.
