Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Takes a Loss

Northeastern lost against Triad back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jets fell 3-1 to the Cardinals. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 17-25, 25-23.

Leading Triad to victory were Hunter Hoffman and Sara Pratt. Hoffman had 14 digs and one assist, while Pratt had four assists and three aces. Those 14 digs gave Hoffman a new career-high.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Triad, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northeastern will square off against rival West Liberty-Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Triad is set to take on their familiar foe West Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
