Football Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Kimball had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-4 to make it five. They were outmatched by the St. Mary's Rams and fell 70-8. The Jaguars lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 48-14 score last time.

Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Apollo Flores, who picked up 114 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for St. Mary's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2. That looming 70-8 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Kenneth Moore iii had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 40 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 35 yards and one score. Another player making a difference was Jaden Galvan, who threw for 107 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.

Kimball wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 28-22 victory against Lodi on the 17th. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 44-21 win against Edison on the 17th.
