Basketball Recap: Bloomingdale Piles Up the Points Against Hannan

Bloomingdale posted their biggest victory since February 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hannan Wildcats 63-36. The Blazers pushed the score to 50-29 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats had little chance of recovering from.

Bloomingdale got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Schiedler out in front who posted eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals. With that strong performance, Schiedler is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Schiedler, who had 14 points and six boards.

Despite the loss, Hannan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hayden Taylor scored 11 points.

Bloomingdale is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Hannan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Bloomingdale will take on Parkersburg Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hannan, they will square off against Elk Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hannan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
