Volleyball Recap: Lake Braddock Extends Home Winning Streak to Five + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Lake Braddock had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Lewis Lancers on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Bruins not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Braddock took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-14.

Sebastian Ortiz-Torrey paced Lake Braddock's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ortiz-Torrey got some help from David Kim and his 20 assists.

Lake Braddock pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Lewis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Lake Braddock will venture away from home to take on Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lewis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
