John Marshall hasn't had much luck against Morgantown recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The John Marshall Monarchs will host the Morgantown Mohigans at 6:30 p.m.

John Marshall is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Bellaire on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. John Marshall lost 63-43 to Bellaire. The Monarchs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgantown). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Wheeling Park 89-51. The Mohigans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Morgantown and bumps their season record up to 7-1. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
