Softball Recap: Cedar Grove-Belgium Comes Up Short

Cedar Grove-Belgium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 27-18 to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen. The Rockets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flying Dutchmen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cedar Grove-Belgium's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oostburg, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, Cedar Grove-Belgium will head out to take on Omro at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oostburg, they will face off against Valders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
