Baseball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss

Cocoa lost to Space Coast on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers lost 21-3 to the Vipers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cocoa saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Douglas Garlick, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Yovannie Spratling also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Cocoa now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Space Coast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Cocoa will square off against Titusville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Space Coast, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cocoa Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
