Basketball Recap: Yorktown Takes a Loss

Yorktown was the 44-33 winner over Pettus when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Yorktown Wildcats fell 54-47 to the Pettus Eagles on Tuesday.

Yorktown has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Pettus, they pushed their record up to 8-19 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

When Yorktown and Pettus next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Yorktown will face off against Woodsboro and their four-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pettus will try to stop Port Aransas' 12-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
