Basketball Recap: Lehman Takes a Loss

Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-28 loss at the hands of the Glenn Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Lobos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 726th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 18th).

Despite the defeat, Lehman had strong showings from Lilly Coronado, who posted nine points, and Audrey Johnson, who scored six points and five boards. That's the most rebounds Johnson has posted since back in November of 2024.

Even though they lost, Lehman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Lehman's loss dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Glenn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season.

Lehman has already played their next matchup, a 54-33 defeat against Leander on the 24th. As for Glenn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-39 victory against Liberty Hill on the 24th.
