St. Albert entered their tilt with Jefferson on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering St. Albert's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Jefferson are ranked 60th).

St. Albert pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2.

Looking ahead, St. Albert will be playing at home against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson, they will head out to square off against Le Mars at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
