Ridgedale's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-58 win over the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rockets considering their 30-point performance the contest before.

Ridgedale's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Cory-Rawson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Coming up, Ridgedale won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Bucyrus at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cory-Rawson, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Mohawk at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Cory-Rawson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
