Middle Township is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pleasantville as Middle Township made off with an 81-55 win. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Greyhounds are ranked 309th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Haddon Heights was able to grind out a solid victory over Eastside on Thursday, taking the game 56-49. The Garnets haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Middle Township has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points over those games. Haddon Heights' victory bumped their record up to 13-8.
