Recap: Lambert/Richey R&L Fusion vs. Culbertson Cowboys
This season hasn't been kind to the Lambert/Richey R&L Fusion, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 57-36 walloping at the hands of Culbertson on Thursday. If Lambert/Richey hoped to take revenge for the 59-35 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Donte Eagle Boy was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 26 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Gavin Deen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals and three blocks.
Lambert/Richey's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Culbertson, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Lambert/Richey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Culbertson will head out on the road to challenge Plentywood at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Plentywood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Culbertson in Montana (Plentywood is ranked 23rd, while Culbertson is ranked 111th).
