Softball Recap: Moore Haven Takes a Loss

If Moore Haven was riding high fresh off their 18-2 takedown of Gateway last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Terriers came up short against the Okeechobee Brahmans on Monday, falling 15-2. The Terriers have struggled against the Brahmans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Moore Haven's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Okeechobee, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-10.

Coming up, Moore Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against Glades Day at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Okeechobee, they will head out on the road to challenge South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Brahmans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
