Soccer Recap: Berrien Comes Up Short

Berrien was the 1-0 winner over Valwood when they last played one another back in February of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Berrien Rebels fell 3-1 to the Valwood Valiants on Tuesday. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berrien now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Valwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Berrien wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 6-1 defeat against Jeff Davis on the 7th. Valwood will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Deerfield-Windsor at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th. The contest will give Deerfield-Windsor their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
