Calais is 2-8 against Narraguagus since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Devils will host the Knights at 4:00 p.m. Calais is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Calais turned things around against Shead on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 20-10 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Devils considering their one-run performance the match before.

Calais let Alexis Sulkowski and Ashaliegh Sulkowski run wild. Alexis went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Ashaliegh went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most runs Ashaliegh has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Beal, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Calais always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .721. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Narraguagus suffered their closest defeat since April 26, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Machias by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Narraguagus fell to 7-1. As for Calais, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Calais has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .485. However, it's not like Narraguagus struggles in that department as they've averaged .547. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
