It was a good run, but Springfield Township unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by the William Tennent Panthers and fell 69-36. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Springfield Township's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2. As for William Tennent, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield Township will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Upper Moreland at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for William Tennent, they and Council Rock North will face off at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
