New Hampton scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 75-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crestwood Cadets. While losing is never fun, the Chickasaws can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while the Cadets are ranked 107th).

New Hampton's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Crestwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Hampton will venture away from home to face off against Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Crestwood, they will face off against Waukon at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
