Volleyball Recap: Andress Eagles vs. Jefferson Silver Foxes        
        
		
             Andress was the  3-1 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another  back in October, but their luck changed this time around. The Andress Eagles came up short against  the Jefferson Silver Foxes on Tuesday, falling  3-0. The Eagles have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 While Andress was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21,  25-16.
  Abigail Rosales and  Alyssa Padilla certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Rosales  had 11  digs and 14  assists, while  Padilla  had seven  kills, seven  digs,  and four  aces. Padilla is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in the last 19 games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aubrey Saavedra, who  had ten  digs.
 Jefferson's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Ivey Martinez, who  had 14  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Martinez has posted since back in August.
 Andress' defeat dropped their record down to 12-19. As for Jefferson,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 17-19.
 Andress does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Jefferson and Hanks will dust off their jerseys to  challenge  one another  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hanks is coming into the  matchup with five straight  losses on the road,  meaning Jefferson will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory.
