Sehome won the last time they faced Blaine and things went their way on Friday too. The Mariners walked away with a 5-1 win over the Borderites. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mariners.

Sehome saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Sehome's record is now 8-9. As for Blaine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Coming up, Sehome will be playing in front of their home fans against Mt. Baker at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mariners are facing the Mountaineers at the right time seeing as the Mountaineers are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Blaine, they will head out to square off against Sultan at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
