Football Game Recap: Dighton vs. Greeley County

Dighton won the last time they faced Greeley County, and things went their way on Friday, too. Dighton put the hurt on Greeley County with a sharp 62-38 victory. Dighton were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The win got Dighton back to even at 2-2. The defeat dropped Greeley County's record to 1-3.

Next week Dighton take on Triplains/Brewster at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Greeley County, they will face off against Wheatland-Grinnell. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
