Huron has gone a perfect 5-0 against Douglas recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Huron will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Huron is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Spearfish, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Huron was ranked 14th). The Tigers skirted past the Spartans 27-25.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Douglas' offense. They were dealt a 48-0 loss at the hands of Watertown on Friday.

Huron's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Everything came up roses for Huron against Douglas in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
