Volleyball Recap: Edgar Wildcats vs. Chippewa Falls Cardinals

It was a proper cat-fight when Edgar faced off against Chippewa Falls on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Edgar's offense was headlined by Makita Ellenbecker and Jacie Schilling, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Brandi Halverson and her seven assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Leading Chippewa Falls to victory were Ilah Sinz and Barrett Boisvert. Sinz had seven digs and three aces, while Boisvert had 18 assists and six digs. Those three aces gave Sinz a new career-high.
