Volleyball Recap: Weld Central Rebels vs. Strasburg Indians
Weld Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Strasburg Indians. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2017.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-16.
Weld Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Strasburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Weld Central will square off against Jefferson Academy at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, Strasburg and Brush will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
