Battle played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 53-24 defeat at the hands of the Camdenton Lakers. On the bright side, the 24- point performance marked the Spartans' highest-scoring game to date.

Battle's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Camdenton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Battle will venture away from home to take on Smith-Cotton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Camdenton, they will welcome Rock Bridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
