Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saguaro walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Sabercats as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Saguaro won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-22, 25-19.

Nylah Bibby paced Saguaro's offense, picking up 21 kills. Bibby got some help from Sophia Curtis and her 36 assists. Bibby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Saguaro's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Desert Sunrise, they moved to 21-6 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Saguaro has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Mesquite on the 6th. Desert Sunrise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
