Volleyball Preview: East Greenwich Avengers vs. Chariho Chargers
The East Greenwich Avengers will head out on the road to face off against the Chariho Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Greenwich will be strutting in after a win while Chariho will be coming in after a defeat.
East Greenwich is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Cranston East, who was ranked 25th at the time (East Greenwich was ranked 19th). The Avengers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Thunderbolts on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Avengers in their matchups with the Thunderbolts: they've now won six in a row.
