Football Preview: Savannah Savages vs. St. Pius X Warriors
Savannah and St. Pius X are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Savages are taking a road trip to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Savannah will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
Savannah is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Maryville: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Savages blew the Spoofhounds out of the water with a 42-6 final score. The Savages pushed the score to 35-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spoofhounds had little chance of recovering from.

Savannah's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Riley Cook led the charge by picking up 109 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one TD on the ground. Those 109 receiving yards gave Cook a new career-high. Aiden Knechtenhofer handled things on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
