Volleyball Game Preview: Archmere Academy Auks vs. Delmarva Christian Royals + How To Watch

The Archmere Academy Auks will head out on the road to take on the Delmarva Christian Royals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Delmarva Christian took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Archmere Academy, who comes in off a win.

Archmere Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Appoquinimink, who was ranked ninth at the time (Archmere Academy was ranked seventh). The Auks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Auks.

Meanwhile, Delmarva Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sussex Academy.

Delmarva Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Archmere Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Archmere Academy took their win against Delmarva Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2019 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Auks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
