Basketball Game Preview: Bonney Lake Panthers vs. Graham-Kapowsin Eagles

The Bonney Lake Panthers will head out to face off against the Graham-Kapowsin Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Bonney Lake will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Spanaway Lake, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Bonney Lake enjoyed a cozy 81-63 victory over Spanaway Lake on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Graham-Kapowsin made easy work of Yelm on Monday and carried off a 61-36 win.

Graham-Kapowsin has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Bonney Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Bonney Lake beat Graham-Kapowsin 68-61 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonney Lake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
