Baseball Recap: Pieper Takes a Loss

Pieper has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Boerne Greyhounds, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pieper's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-1. As for Boerne, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-5.

While Pieper had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
