St. Patrick waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sacred Heart Crusaders a 6-0 shutout. Give St. Patrick's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

They hit Sacred Heart with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lucas Kurihara (3), Luke Shaw, Payton Taylor, and Cameron Messer.

St. Patrick's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Sacred Heart, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-4-1.

Coincidentally, St. Patrick and Sacred Heart will both be playing Presbyterian Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Fighting Irish will host the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
