Baseball Recap: Brazos Christian Takes a Loss

Brazos Christian fell victim to Hill Country Christian School of Austin and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Brazos Christian's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-1.

Looking ahead, Hill Country Christian School of Austin will head out to challenge St. Andrew's at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brazos Christian will be paying especially close attention to Hill Country Christian School of Austin's match: after Hill Country Christian School of Austin faces off against St. Andrew's, they'll take on Brazos Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
