Softball Recap: Edon Comes Up Short

Edon lost against Edgerton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bombers lost 15-2 to the Bulldogs. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Smith, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Edon's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Edgerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Edon will venture away from home to take on Lakewood Park Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bombers will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Edgerton, they will welcome Archbold at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
