Baseball Recap: Innovation Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Innovation's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Freedom Patriots on Thursday. The Bulls' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Innovation saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Freedom, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Coming up, Innovation will square off against Gateway at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Innovation is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season. As for Freedom, they will face off against Edgewater at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Edgewater also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 6.9 runs per game.
