Basketball Recap: Timberline Takes a Loss

Timberline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Nezperce Nighthawks, falling 73-21. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-9.

Nezperce found their leader in freshman Jada Jensen, who went 8 of 9 to rack up 16 points. Thanks to that strong game, Jensen now owns an excellent 51% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Helen Wilcox, who posted 12 points.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Nezperce, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Timberline nor Nezperce have any future games scheduled.
