League recap: Green Hope leads league with three wins since last week

Green Hope outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its three total wins led the league. The Falcons beat Cary 11-0 and Enloe 17-1.

Gavin Russell was the hottest hitter in 4A Tri-Nine this week, racking up a .667 average, one home run and five RBIs. The Imps went 1-2.

Cary's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 23 hits and 13 walks to lead the league in both categories.

The Imps' Grant Hayes was locked in this week, and led the league with a .500 average (6-for-12) over that span. He's batting .394 on the year, which puts him at second in the league. Hayes has totaled 13 hits this season.
