Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III recap Oct. 30, 2012

McPherson extended the longest winning streak in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III this week by beating Chapman, 42-24. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Bullpups.

Rose Hill took down Trinity Academy 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Mulvane's dynamic duo of Ty Redington and Alex Evans proved tough for Clearwater to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Redington threw for 176 yards and three touchdowns and Evans had 85 yards receiving. Austin Bell helped Mulvane's passing attack out by catching five balls for 41 yards.

Dalton Clark was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 28 carries, he ran for 238 yards as McPherson topped the Indians. Teammate Kyler Kinnamon added to the ground attack by rushing for 59 yards.

Mulvane's Redington and Evans have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Redington has thrown for 2025 yards this season, while Evans, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 73 catches for 1273 yards. Austin Obannon from Tom Young's team leads the league in rushing with 768 yards.

The Rockets made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,983 from 4,885. The improvement was the result of 42-0 victory over Trinity Academy last week.
